Molly is Part of Our Family…Wedding Invite

Whew!…..We made it through this CRAZY SUMMER!

Not only did we have our kennel filled to the brim but our oldest daughter Madelyn got married August 27th.

Yes, engaged in May…married in August.

Whirlwind of JOY :0)

Molly Dressed for a Wedding.

One step of the wedding planning, was compiling the guest list.

That list of  people that have been key in her (and our) life was humbling.

Honestly, that was my favorite part of the planning…being reminded of the wonderful people in our lives.

“What about Molly?” Madelyn asked

Would it be odd to invite dogs that we take care of at our kennel?

Molly has been spending time with us for years. She is our resident queen and clearly lets everyone know her social standing.

She comes 3-5 days a week for day care…and I would say, she (and her owner Ed) have become part of our family.

Raising 5 kids takes lots of different people/dogs to teach all they need to know to succeed in this life.

Dogs are excellent teachers and influences. Often better than human ones.

Unconditional love, respect, hope, work , peace, stability, patience….I could go on and on.

Molly is one of those dogs.

Madelyn had a few dog friends on our list.

I was pleased to see my beautiful (now married) daughter take a moment and pause to recognize who is important in her life.

Human or not.

As I expect now and in the future….the Reynolds kids will have dog friends on all of their wedding lists.

Spring Crazy!…Monday

Spring break is not the same for us at Reynolds Kennels. The word “break” should be changed to CRAZY.

Madelyn with Homer and Shasta

While our clients are out soaking in the sun or hunting for snow, we are filledl to the brim.

I love these busy times.

We get to see all of our staff often. Dog energy is high. We go to bed tired and happy. (just like our dogs)

Our spirits are fed with your dogs unconditional  love. Our young staff  learns the meaning of hard work. Our clients know that their dogs are having fun.

I dropped off my youngest children at their gymnastics camp this morning. I couldn’t help but think all of our kennel guests are at their camp as well.

They get to be in a “dog park” four times a day. Mixing and socializing with our great staff.

More important, they mix with each other. Dogs love to be with their own kind.

Just imagine how your heart melts when your dog is waiting to greet you at the door….times that by 50!

I’m going to post a glimpse of our world everyday this week. Enjoy! We are. :0)

What!? What is all this white stuff….Just Snow in the Northwest!

It is cold outside but all of our furry friends love it!

What a nice day for some canine friends, dog treats and good ole’ Snow Angels.

With the Winter Olympics about to begin, I think a good blanket of white gets us in the mood.

Although, the only gold circles we see are on the ground in random places.

I love to see my son, Spencer, out there running around with the dogs. He loves to get in some good exercise too.

However, me personally, I’ll leave my running shoes in the closet. Grab a good book….after the dogs are tucked away for dinner of course :0)

Welcome to Oregon, Jack Frost!
If you have a dog…bring it by Reynolds Kennels…we will play with him!
